I’ve known about Tiidelab for the past three years, but I assumed I’d have to be a tech genius to be accepted until a friendtold me about the pre-fellowship program last year. I applied for the pre-fellowship cohort 1 and was accepted, but I couldn’t handle the workload because of my May job, so I quit after the first week. I chose to try again this year after speaking with the same buddy about a career change; she encouraged me to go through with it this time, and lucky for me, I was accepted for the second time; a privilege I’ll never take for granted.

One thing that struck me was the style of delivery In contrast to the previous year, a WhatsApp group was established, which facilitated communication and information flow.

I got a lot more out of the program when I started constructing my profile as an assignment; it was a lot of fun, and it showed me how dedicated the mentors were to our success. They are always willing to assist and are constantly available. I didn’t establish any personal friends, but as the Team Lead, I know and understand all of my team members.
I’m presently working on a tourist website with my team, and it’s been a long, exhausting, but rewarding journey , and I’m looking forward to starting the real program.

Mr. Salami, the founder of Tiidelab, and Mr. Aderoju, the program organizer, my group Mentor, Unclebay deserve special recognition.
